TEACHING ARTIST & EDUCATOR

Dasan teaches dance classes for the studio, public schools, community events/workshops, privates and more. He continuously trains in Aesthetic Education founded by the Lincoln Center Education, and studied various pedagogy while completing his bachelor of science at Wayne State University. He also studies the philosophy,  theories, and pedagogy of the Katherine Dunham Technique.

AFRo-Modern

As a candidate of the Katherine Dunham Technique Certification, he uses Dunham as the foundation of his class. Students will explore both classical modern and contemporary movement through an African Diaspora lens. Finding clarity in movement and rhythm is achieved in this class through a series of fundamental Dunham exercises and fully embodied movement. The students of this class will allow themselves to activate the mind, body, and spirit.
